Paris out of the jail and onto The View?

Well, our favorite heiress inmate has had one busy week. On June 14, Paris Hilton was transferred out of a medical ward at a Los Angeles County jail and returned to the detention center at Lynnwood. She was released after being sent to the center for medical and psychiatric exams. Reports say she was sedated through most of her medical ward experience, even during her interview with Barbara Walters.
Repeat. She was sedated while talking to Barbara Wawa.
Walters, who wanted to just interview Kathy Hilton, hit the jail house jackpot when Paris insisted on talking to Walters herself. Maybe not a smart move for Paris while she was stoned out on legal drugs, which were, perhaps the culprit of all the God talk:
"My spirit or soul did not like the way I was being seen and that is why I was sent to jail."
"God," she said, "has released me."
She claims to be done with acting "dumb." She claims to be done with partying. She also claims that she has dry skin in jail and isn't allowed any lotion, but doesn't care because she's not that superficial girl anymore.

Whatever, Paris. Everyone in jail needs a little Oil of Olay once in a while. If for nothing else than to soothe handcuff chaffing.
As for the partying... where have we heard this
before?
The heiress made such an impression on Walters that she even considered Paris a possible candidate to replace Rosie O'Donnell on
The View.
When asked on her SIRIUS radio show about whether she would be interested in Hilton co-hosting, Walters said that Hilton would give the co-hosts "something to talk about."
However, Walter's producer, Bill Geddie, did not like her answer, and gave his own:
"Let me answer that," Geddie said. "No."
In a verbal tennis match, Walters responded, "Let me answer that: Yes."
Later, Walters back-peddled her position in a separate interview with Ryan Seacrest and wouldn't commit to whether or not she thought Hilton would be a good candidate for a co-host.
*Sigh.* The saga goes on.
